When we are on vacation or on a weekend, we definitely need a relaxing moment, the coffee break is the most excellent moment to do so. Similarly, when you are on holiday in Bali, island paradise, you can enjoy a cup of black coffee, espresso or cappuccino. You can get the most delicious coffee that is grown in this beautiful island.

Relax over a cup of coffee, or vice versa you can do anywhere in the entire island of Bali which has many secret beaches, from Sanur, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Candidasa, Lovina beach, also in a most famous village in Bali, Kintamani or Ubud.  I was invited to drink coffee in a boutique hotel, Ubud. The hotel owner, Mr. Nyoman Sudhana always invited me to have coffee or dinner at the hotel or Legong Restaurant, in Semawang, Sanur near Denpasar. However, for a cozy atmosphere for coffee, Kori Ubud is the most convenient place in Ubud area.

In Ubud you can choose Balinese coffee, which has a unique flavor, especially if you are presented traditional Balinese snack, fried bananas. Unlike the fried bananas you find in other coffee shops, you also will feel the crispy rice flour. Banana pancakes at Kori Ubud is also very appetizing, is perfect with coffee or cappuccino on the menu. If you are a true coffee connoisseur, you can order espresso.

In addition to Ubud, you can enjoy breakfast at Sanur beach, and close your breakfast with a cup of coffee, while feeling the sea breeze. You can see the island of Nusa Penida in your east, and views of Mount Agung, a sacred mountain in Bali. If you are a fan of water sports such as diving or snorkeling, you can adventure in Nusa Penida. If you are lazy to walk, enjoy the atmosphere of Sanur beach is beautiful with its white sand.

Another favorite place to enjoy authentic Balinese coffee is of Kintamani, a village which has a the lake, adjoining intimate with a beautiful the lake, Mount Batur and Lake Batur. What is unique of Kintamani is because you will witness the beauty of mountains and the lake are from the top, rather than some of the restaurants and shops along the way of Kintamani.

Because the mountain is not too high, then you can climb the mountain early in the morning, and watch a spectacular sunrise. In the distance you can see Mount Agung, even Mount Rinjani is located on the island of Lombok, Bali's sister island. Do not worry, the coffee enthusiast can also enjoy a warm cup of coffee at the summit of Mount Batur, and also enjoy the beauty of the the lake at the foot of this mountain.

If you have time, before heading to the beach or other beautiful places, you can visit the coffee farm in of Kintamani. You can watch the coffee process, from picking, drying up the process of roasting coffee. Remember to taste the organic coffee or kopi luwak at the plantation.

Bali is not just famous for its friendly community, arts, culture or landscape, you can also get the pleasure of a cup of coffee. Because of this, take a kilo of ground coffee or coffee beans from Bali as souvenirs. If you do, then you have a role to support the welfare of coffee farmers in Bali.

Come for the weekend or a holiday in Bali, and enjoy a coffee break on the island of the Gods. You will get wonderful memories, especially if you remember to take pictures selfie with your smartphone over a cup of coffee with the one you love, or together with family or your friends.
